[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] On Thursday the 22nd, the country will experience mostly cloudy skies as it lies on the edge of a high-pressure system moving eastward over the East Sea. It will be very warm during the day.
The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Morning temperatures will range between 11 and 15 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures reaching above 25 degrees Celsius inland, and around 20 degrees Celsius along the East Coast and in the Gangwon mountain areas."
Dryness warnings have been issued for Seoul, parts of inland Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon Province, inland Chungcheong region, Jeonnam region, Gyeongsang region, and the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, where the air will be quite dry. Other regions will also generally experience dry conditions.
Morning low temperatures by region are expected to be △Seoul 15°C △Chuncheon 13°C △Gangneung 15°C △Daejeon 14°C △Cheongju 16°C △Daegu 14°C △Gwangju 14°C △Jeonju 14°C △Busan 15°C △Jeju 15°C.
Daytime high temperatures will be △Seoul 27°C △Chuncheon 26°C △Gangneung 22°C △Daejeon 27°C △Cheongju 28°C △Daegu 26°C △Gwangju 26°C △Jeonju 26°C △Busan 22°C △Jeju 24°C.
Fine dust levels will be 'bad' in Seoul and southern Gyeonggi Province, while other areas will see 'moderate' levels.
The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Fog may form in parts of the central East Sea, so special caution is requested to prevent maritime safety accidents."
