NH Nonghyup Financial Group Business Strategy Division Employees Participate in Rural Volunteer Work Assistance Kim Hyung-shin, Executive Vice President and Head of Business Strategy Division at NongHyup Financial Group (right), and employees are helping with farm work on the 21st at a farm in Guseongpo Village, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do.


[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NH NongHyup Financial Group announced that Vice President Hyungshin Kim (also Head of the Bank's Global Business Division) and volunteer teams from the financial holding company and NongHyup Bank visited Guseongpo Village in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon Province on the 21st to assist with farm labor.


On that day, employees of NH NongHyup Financial Group engaged in various volunteer activities such as covering Omija berries with nets, reclaiming farmland, and cleaning up the village environment. Additionally, they donated masks and agricultural products to the village to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.


Vice President Hyungshin Kim stated, “As the shortage of labor due to rural aging continues, the difficulties in rural areas are worsening because of COVID-19. We will continue to provide both material and moral support to share in the hardships of rural communities.”


Meanwhile, with the start of the main farming season, NH NongHyup Financial Group plans to continuously carry out various farm labor assistance activities tailored to the needs of farming households together with all its subsidiaries, including NH NongHyup Bank, NH NongHyup Life Insurance, NH NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance, and NH Investment & Securities.
