[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Wonbong's home appliance brand Luhens announced on the 21st that it has launched the antibacterial layering PVC material 'Light Shower Hose.'

According to Wonbong, the Light Shower Hose uses antibacterial PVC material both inside and outside the shower hose to reduce concerns about water stains and bacterial growth even after long-term use. To ensure material flexibility, it employs a phthalate-free plasticizer and is made from a material free of 26 harmful substances including four phthalate plasticizers, lead, and cadmium, which have recently been controversial due to environmental hormone detection.

Additionally, the 360-degree rotation design prevents twisting or turning issues even after prolonged use. The smooth surface treatment allows for clean use and maintenance without the need to clean the product individually with a cleaning brush. Weighing about 320g, equivalent to the weight of one apple, it is easy to hold with one hand considering the average shower time of 15 minutes. As a domestically produced product, it can be installed on products within the KC standard, which is an advantage.

A Luhens representative said, “Considering the difficulty of maintaining hygiene for a long time when frequently replacing shower hoses in general households, we introduced a product that emphasizes convenience and hygiene,” and added, “The Luhens Light Shower Hose is designed focusing on consumer usability, and we will continue to introduce various products that can be used safely for a long time.”
