Enforcement of the "Special Act on Real Estate Ownership Transfer Registration, etc." Until August 4, Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Guri City, Gyeonggi Province, is temporarily enforcing the "Special Measures Act on Real Estate Ownership Transfer Registration, etc." until August 4, 2022.
According to the city on the 20th, through this Special Measures Act, ownership transfer registration can be made for real estate that does not have ownership preservation registration or whose registry entries do not match the actual rights relationship.
The scope of application includes ▲ real estate that was effectively transferred by sale, gift, exchange, or inherited before June 30, 1995 ▲ real estate without ownership preservation registration since before June 30, 1995. Guri City applies this to 'farmland (fields, rice paddies, orchards) and forest land.'
Applicants must submit a guarantee letter to the city confirmed by at least five guarantors appointed by the mayor (including one lawyer or judicial scrivener), and for farmland, attach a farmland acquisition qualification certificate according to the "Farmland Act."
The city will investigate the facts of the received applications and, after a two-month public notice period, if there are no objections, issue a confirmation letter to the applicant and proceed with the registration process.
