NS Home Shopping, CEO Jo Hangmok to Lead Solo System for "Differentiated Innovation" Jang Hangmok, CEO of NS Home Shopping.


[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] NS Home Shopping held a board meeting on the 19th and announced that, effective May 1, it will transition from the co-CEO system of Dosangcheol and Johangmok to a sole CEO system under CEO Johangmok alone.


NS Home Shopping stated, "Last November, we changed to a co-CEO system with Dosangcheol·Johangmok, but as CEO Do expressed his intention to resign due to personal reasons, starting next month, we will embark on a new start with CEO Jo as the sole CEO."


The company explained, "CEO Do, who has led NS Home Shopping for the past 14 years, joined as an executive in 2002 and was in charge of the Customer Management Support Headquarters, establishing a customer-centric management system," adding, "He was appointed CEO in October 2007 and grew the transaction amount from 488.4 billion KRW at the time of his appointment to 1.5155 trillion KRW last year."


CEO Jo, who was appointed as the sole CEO this time, joined NS Home Shopping in 2002 and held key positions such as Channel Strategy Team, Media Business Headquarters, SB Business Headquarters, and TV Business Division. Since 2017, he has served as NS Home Shopping's Chief Operating Officer (COO), overseeing all channel business organizations.


CEO Jo said, "I will ensure that NS Home Shopping broadens the scope of change and innovation," and added, "Through differentiated innovation, we will build a competitive and management system capable of sustainable growth in the future."
