[Asia Economy Reporter Kum Boryeong] Joo Ho-young, Acting Leader of the People Power Party, emphasized "cooperation and inclusion" toward the ruling party and government.

At the emergency committee meeting of the People Power Party held at the National Assembly on the 19th, Acting Leader Joo stated, "I hope there will be no discord between the Prime Minister nominee who promises cooperation and inclusion and the ruling party floor leader who vows not to stop racing, nor between the party and government."

He urged Prime Minister nominee Kim Boo-kyum, saying, "I hope your commitment to putting greater effort into cooperation and inclusion and not hesitating to seek cooperation from the opposition party will not remain mere words," adding, "So far, no one in the Moon Jae-in administration has failed to talk about cooperation and inclusion. The issue is not words but action, and I hope Nominee Kim deeply reflects on this."

On the other hand, Acting Leader Joo expressed concern about Yoon Ho-jung, floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea. He pointed out, "Floor Leader Yoon still insists that the wheel of reform must not stop, which is extremely worrisome," and added, "We must never forget that the unilateral dominance of the Democratic Party and the Moon administration, which escalated to arrogance and despotism, has caused public resentment and resistance."

He continued, "The apology letter promising to bow before public sentiment and reflect on it is still barely dry. The Moon administration and the Democratic Party must drastically change not only the speed but also the direction," and said, "If the Moon administration sincerely shows that it will consider public sentiment and change its speed and direction differently from now, the People Power Party can actively cooperate."
