Gwangju Buk-gu Operates 'Enterprise Growth Support Team' for Small and Medium Enterprises

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Moon In) announced on the 18th that it will officially operate the ‘Enterprise Growth Support Group,’ which provides one-on-one consultation services free of charge to local small and medium-sized enterprises starting this month.

The Enterprise Growth Support Group has been promoted in collaboration with the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation since last year to respond to consulting demands in various fields, and plans to provide customized consulting through experts in three major areas: ▲Enterprise Growth Support ▲Leap to a Century-old Company ▲Management Innovation.

First, the Enterprise Growth Support consulting involves professional consultants visiting companies to provide consultations on various aspects of business management, such as growth strategies, industry advancement, and smart factories.

The Leap to a Century-old Company consulting targets the Century-old Company Forum, composed of second-generation business owners, and offers various programs such as sharing successful company cases and seminars to grow into long-lasting companies.

The Management Innovation Leaders Academy plans to enhance innovation-related content to present higher-level courses.

Companies wishing to receive consulting can apply through the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, and for more details, inquiries can be made to the Buk-gu Economic Comprehensive Support Center or the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation.

Mayor Moon In of Buk-gu said, “In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, we will operate the Enterprise Growth Support Group solidly so that it can serve as a compass for corporate growth.”
