Compared to the same time frame, this is 13 more cases than the 184 reported the previous day and 23 more than the 174 cases reported a week earlier on the 9th. The total number of new cases for the entire day was 216 on the 15th and 201 on the 9th.
Among cluster infections, additional confirmed cases were reported as follows: 5 at a religious facility in Eunpyeong-gu, 2 at a workplace in Seocho-gu, 1 at a restaurant in Dongdaemun-gu, and 1 at a sauna in Eunpyeong-gu. There were 83 cases classified as 'other confirmed contacts' not linked to clusters, and 59 cases under investigation with unknown infection routes.
Meanwhile, as of 6 p.m. on the same day, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul reached 35,267. The total number of confirmed cases for the entire day will be compiled based on the 0 a.m. cutoff on the following day, the 17th, and announced in the morning. The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul has consistently remained in the 200s since the 7th of this month, except for the weekend of the 11th and 12th.
