Wavve Exclusively Releases Original Variety Show 'Banjeon-ui Highlight'

Yoon Doojoon, Yang Yoseop, Lee Gikwang, and Son Dongwoon First Full Group Reality Show After Discharge

[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Online video service (OTT) Wavve announced on the 16th that it will exclusively release the group's Highlight's solo reality variety show 'Banjon-ui Highlight' (The Twist of Highlight).

'Banjon-ui Highlight' is a reality variety show where Highlight, consisting of Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon, embark on a 2-night 3-day campervan trip, playing games during the day and spending time together as members at night. As this is the first variety show featuring all Highlight members reunited after their recent military discharge, it is receiving a hot response from fans who are looking forward to the members' adaptation to variety shows and new challenges. Comprising a total of 12 episodes, 'Banjon-ui Highlight' will release two main episodes sequentially every Friday at 11 a.m., followed by additional video clips the next day.

Wavve has previously exclusively serviced idol original variety titles such as 'Level Up - Asseulhan Project' starting in May last year, 'Boy Mental Camp', and 'Mtopia'. 'Banjon-ui Highlight' is Wavve's first original idol variety show to premiere this year.

Im Chang-hyuk, Head Manager of Wavve's Domestic Programming Division, stated, "Wavve's idol variety content records an average of 500,000 unique viewers per work during the broadcast period, showing high viewership," and added, "We plan to release additional original idol variety shows in May."
