Imsil-gun, Recruitment of Participants for Phase 1 Hope Work Support Project

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 15th that it will recruit 14 participants for the first phase of the 2021 Hope Work Support Project.

Hope Work participants can apply at the town and township offices by the 21st, and through final selection, they will be assigned to four fields including COVID-19 vaccination support, daily quarantine, and public work support.

The Hope Work Support Project (Regional Vitality Plus Job Project) is a project that provides public jobs to residents in need of urgent livelihood support due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, allowing participation for 6 hours a day, up to 8 months.

Eligible participants are those aged 18 or older with work ability as of the project start date, including vulnerable employment groups, those who have experienced job loss or business closure due to COVID-19, and residents needing livelihood support due to the local economic downturn.

However, recipients under the National Basic Livelihood Security Act, unemployment benefit recipients, those currently participating in public work projects at stage 3 or higher or who have dropped out midway, and those currently participating in other similar government support projects are excluded.

Detailed selection plans include recruiting 6 people for the COVID-19 vaccination support project, who will manage parking, conduct fever checks, and provide vaccination guidance at the vaccination center.

Additionally, 6 people will be recruited to support daily quarantine at Imsil Cheese Theme Park, and 1 person each for emergency public work support in Imsil and Osu townships.

Those wishing to participate in the project should bring their ID and visit the local town or township office in person to apply.

County Governor Sim Min said, “We hope to provide public jobs to residents struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation to alleviate some economic difficulties and offer help,” adding, “We plan to continue promoting policies to create various jobs in the future.”
