20 Additional Confirmed Cases Including Contacts of Known Patients in Goyangseo

[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] An additional 20 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been reported in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, including contacts with acquaintances.

The city of Goyang announced, "As of the 14th, 7 cases were confirmed in the afternoon, and as of 4 PM on the 15th, 13 cases were confirmed, totaling 20 confirmed COVID-19 cases."

According to the city, 9 cases were from contact with acquaintances, 4 from family transmission, 2 from contact with confirmed cases in other regions, 1 from overseas entry, 1 related to a practical music academy, and 3 others are under investigation for their infection routes.

By region, there are 6 cases in Deogyang-gu, 4 in Ilsandong-gu, 8 in Ilsanseo-gu, and 2 in other regions.

Regarding the practical music academy located in Ilsanseo-gu, 1 additional case was confirmed today, bringing the cumulative total to 25 confirmed cases.

As of 4 PM today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Goyang City is 2,596, with 2,500 confirmed cases among Goyang citizens (2,417 domestic infections and 83 overseas infections).
