Saneun Signs Business Agreement with Mubo to Boost Export Vitality


[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi]On the 15th, Korea Development Bank (KDB) announced that it signed a business agreement with Korea Trade Insurance Corporation at its Yeouido headquarters to jointly support the Korean New Deal and export companies in the materials, parts, and equipment sectors.


This agreement was established to overcome COVID-19 and revitalize the economy by supporting exports and overseas expansion of promising companies related to the Green and Digital New Deals, as well as materials, parts, and equipment.


The two organizations plan to ▲ jointly discover promising export companies and projects by utilizing extensive domestic and international networks, ▲ provide joint financial support using export and overseas expansion support know-how and customized products, with preferential interest rates and insurance conditions offered for jointly supported promising export companies.


KDB has built a broad financial support infrastructure as a leading policy financial institution, including a large-scale direct and indirect program worth 45 trillion KRW for the successful promotion of the Korean New Deal, the 'KDB Carbon Stress Program (5 trillion KRW)' to support achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, and the launch and operation of the 'Materials, Parts, and Equipment Industry Support Fund (3 trillion KRW)' to strengthen the competitiveness of the materials, parts, and equipment industry.


A KDB official stated, "Through this business agreement with Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, we will expand the base for discovering and nurturing promising export companies related to the Korean New Deal and materials, parts, and equipment sectors, and actively play a supporting role in the real economy with differentiated policy finance."
