Gangneung City Conducts 'Special Hygiene Inspection' of Construction Site Restaurants and Buffet Businesses

[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Gangneung City will conduct a special hygiene inspection and focus on compliance with infectious disease prevention rules at restaurants and buffet businesses near construction sites until the 16th.

According to the city on the 14th, the main inspection items are ▲operator compliance ▲food handling standards such as expiration dates ▲storage conditions of ingredients ▲social distancing and other quarantine rules.

The city plans to provide education on major spring food poisoning (such as Clostridium perfringens) prevention tips and guidance on the implementation of social distancing level 1.5 extension measures simultaneously.

Violating businesses will be instructed to correct issues immediately on site, and for serious matters, administrative actions and a second inspection will be conducted, with priority guidance until improvements are made.
