Video Production Startup Contest for Promotional Videos Featuring People, Cars, and Travel
Selected Startups to Be Registered as Partners... Various Videos to Be Produced Together
Startup Win-Win Project to Expand Starting with Video Challenge
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Redcap Tour announced on the 13th that it will start a win-win project to help startups, which have been weakened by the impact of COVID-19, to take off.
The first project is to hold a ‘Video Challenge.’ It is a free-form promotional video contest within 1 minute, using people, cars, and travel as themes to evoke the corporate image of Redcap Tour.
The selected videos will be screened through various promotional media of Redcap Tour. The purpose is to open growth opportunities by jointly promoting the creative capabilities of startups.
In addition, a certain prize money will be awarded to the selected startups, and they will be registered as video production partners of Redcap Tour. They will produce official video content for Redcap Tour and Redcap Rent-a-Car.
Video startups and Redcap Tour plan to create an ecosystem of mutual cooperation by producing and promoting various videos together.
The ‘Redcap Video Challenge’ is open to anyone who is a prospective entrepreneur or a video production startup within 3 years of business registration.
Applications will be accepted until the 26th. Detailed information can be found on Redcap Tour’s official YouTube channel.
In February, Redcap Tour launched the creator community ‘Redcappers 2021,’ composed of popular YouTubers and power bloggers. They release various cultural contents themed on people, cars, and travel through YouTube and SNS channels.
On Redcap Tour’s YouTube and SNS channels, videos such as car camping trips using rental cars, GV70 unboxing, and test drives have been posted. Specialized content such as introductions to the changed Road Traffic Act this year and first car recommendations tailored to lifestyle have also been posted.
Starting with the video challenge, Redcap Tour plans to expand its win-win projects with startups. It will discover various startups that can be linked to the rental car business and travel business, and by jointly promoting creative products produced by startups, it will broaden opportunities for growth and mutual success.
Inyuseong, CEO of Redcap Tour, said, "The Redcap Video Challenge is a win-win project prepared to provide even a small support to startups struggling due to COVID-19," and added, "We plan to widely promote it through various media as a representative promotional video of Redcap Tour."
He continued, "We hope it will be an opportunity for new startups that need business performance and references to take off," and "Redcap Tour will continue to discover collaborative projects that coexist with startups in the future."
