Goyang City Launches Petition Campaign for 'Free Toll on Ilsan Bridge'

Goyang City, 'Ilsan Bridge Toll-Free' Signature Campaign on the Move [Provided by Goyang City]

[Asia Economy Reporter La Youngcheol] Goyang City in Gyeonggi Province is conducting a signature campaign and promotional activities to make the Ilsan Bridge toll-free.

The city stated on the 12th, "Ilsan Bridge Co., Ltd. collects tolls ranging from 1,200 KRW to 2,400 KRW from about 70,000 vehicles passing daily, generating tens of billions of KRW in monthly toll revenue."

The Goyang City Citizens' Promotion Committee for Toll-Free Ilsan Bridge (about 80 members) plans to carry out various promotional activities to continuously demand toll-free access.

A city official said, "We will ensure the toll-free status of Ilsan Bridge by conducting online signature campaigns as well as visiting various local events to collect signatures."
