[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Goodsen, the ITSCEN Group affiliate and the top contractor in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) sector for large construction companies, announced on the 12th that it signed a strategic business partnership (MOU) with Newgen Solutions of Newgen ICT Group, a specialist in accounting and manufacturing ERP, on the 8th to expand orders from small and medium-sized construction companies.
Through this agreement, Goodsen plans to pursue comprehensive business expansion based on its ‘fERP’ system.
Launched in 2017, Goodsen’s ‘fERP’ is an enterprise resource planning system optimized for small and medium-sized enterprises, designed for small and medium construction companies that feel burdened by the cost of implementing construction ERP. It is a site-centered cloud service configured to simplify processes according to the company’s circumstances and to be managed with minimal personnel.
Under this agreement, Goodsen will link ‘fERP’ with Newgen ICT Group’s K-Lab to provide various services including construction cost management and construction accounting management. K-Lab is an accounting system officially used by the Korean Association of Tax Accountants and is the program used for the national certified exam in computerized tax accounting.
Park Yeonjeong, CEO of Goodsen, said, “Construction companies that previously used separate systems for accounting, payroll, and construction cost management can now improve work efficiency and reliability by using an integrated solution. Our site-centered ‘fERP’ offers separate purchases for ▲construction site management ▲sales ▲leasing ▲defects ▲risk assessment services, and when purchased as an integrated package, automatic linkage creates synergy.”
Goodsen operates primarily in construction ERP development, implementation, and ITO, and was listed on KONEX in 2016 based on continuous growth. Following the enforcement of the ‘New External Audit Act,’ it started internal control solutions and general enterprise ERP (Carnias ERP) businesses as new growth engines. Recently, the internal control solution (ICM) has attracted market interest, and significant growth is expected.
