Expected to Launch in the Second Half: 'Galaxy S21 FE'... Leaked Photos Draw Attention

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The expected images of the 'Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition),' anticipated to be released by Samsung Electronics in the second half of this year, have been leaked, drawing attention.

On the 11th (local time), US IT media PhoneArena and others, citing famous IT tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@Onleaks), revealed rendering images and specifications of the Galaxy S21 FE.

According to the released photos, the Galaxy S21 FE appears to have a design generally similar to the 'Galaxy S21,' but shows some differences in the rear camera module and other areas. Previously, the Galaxy S21 featured a 'Contour Cut' design where the smartphone's body, metal frame, and camera seamlessly connect, but it is estimated that this design will not be reflected in the Galaxy S21 FE model.

The display of the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to be a slightly larger 6.4-inch flat Infinity-O display compared to the Galaxy S21's 6.2 inches. The overall size of the product is estimated to be 74.5mm in width and 155.7mm in height, which is 3.3mm and 4mm larger than the Galaxy S21, respectively. On the other hand, the thickness is expected to be the same at 7.9mm.

The rear camera is expected to feature a triple (3) camera setup, but the lens specifications are anticipated to be slightly lower than those of the Galaxy S21. Additionally, since the Galaxy S20 FE supported 5G connectivity, the Galaxy S21 FE is also expected to support 5G connectivity. At least five color options are expected to be available.

Considering that last year's Galaxy S20 FE was launched at $699, the price is expected to be measured at a similar level. Steve Hemmerstoffer said, "Considering the success of last year's Galaxy S20 FE at a reasonable price, if this product is released at a similar price point, it could gain popularity once again."
