Free Consulting on Menu Development, Management, and Marketing for Food Service Businesses in Junghwa-dong and Muk-dong (1.5km Section of Jungnang Station Road)... Recruitment of Participating Businesses Until the 16th, Apply to Jungnang-gu Office Hygiene Division
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) will provide customized consulting services to local restaurants struggling due to COVID-19.
This project was prepared to improve the management capabilities of small businesses and secure competitiveness through professional consulting.
A specialized company will visit the businesses directly and conduct five consulting sessions covering overall operations such as menu composition, food taste, hygiene, and management status, including follow-up support.
The service is completely free of charge, and businesses that actively participate in the consulting can also receive quarantine supplies such as partitions and disinfectants.
The target area is a 1.5 km section along Jungnang Station Road (from Royal Dent to the entrance of Jeil Market). This area, where the district's representative festival, the Rose Festival, used to be held, has suffered significant sales declines due to the festival's reduction caused by COVID-19.
It is expected to create a synergy effect that revitalizes the local economy by linking with other ongoing projects such as the signboard maintenance project and the alley commercial district revitalization support project.
The application period is until the 16th of this month.
The target businesses are general and rest food establishments, bakeries, etc., according to Article 21 of the Enforcement Decree of the Food Sanitation Act, excluding franchise direct management and affiliated stores.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Hygiene Division of Jungnang-gu Office or via phone or fax.
Last year, customized consulting was conducted for 16 businesses, resulting in good outcomes such as an increase in customers at 10 businesses, accounting for 62.5% of the total.
Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi of Jungnang-gu said, “We hope you do not miss the opportunity to catch both the hygiene and management rabbits,” and added, “We will continue to implement various projects for small business owners and self-employed people to revitalize the depressed alley commercial districts.”
