Gyeongbuk Province Hosts 'Happiness Sharing Art Market' at Provincial Office... 3,599 Works Exhibited and Sold The opening ceremony of the 'Happiness Sharing Art Market' held at Gyeongbuk Provincial Government Office on the 10th.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gyeongbuk Province will hold the 'Happy Sharing Gyeongbuk Art Market' for the exhibition and sale of artworks and the practice of neighborly love in cooperation with local artists such as the Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation and the Gyeongbuk Federation of Arts at the underground exhibition hall of Dongnakgwan in the provincial government office until the 17th.


Opened on the 10th, the 'Happy Sharing Art Market' is jointly hosted by the Korea Federation of Arts and Culture Organizations Gyeongbuk Branch, the Gyeongbuk Ceramic Association, and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Craft Cooperative, representing local cultural and artistic organizations, exhibiting and selling a total of 359 excellent local artworks.


During the event period, a total of 359 submitted works in the fields of painting, ceramics, and crafts will be sold continuously. In addition, for residents who cannot visit the exhibition hall in person, online sales and a live auction event will be held simultaneously through the Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation's YouTube channel.


Lee Cheol-woo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province, emphasized the significance of this event, saying, "It is very meaningful that artists, who were hit hard by COVID-19, voluntarily prepared such a venue and took the lead in sharing the pain with the residents."
