Gwangju case 2230 is a contact of Seoul Jung-gu case number 530.

During the epidemiological investigation of Seoul Jung-gu case 530, it was confirmed that he had visited Gwangju, and Gwangju case 2230, who was at the same location, was classified as a contact and placed under self-quarantine.

Gwangju case 2230 developed symptoms during isolation and was finally confirmed positive.

With two additional local infection cases reported on this day, the cumulative number of local confirmed cases has increased to 2,230.
