- Integrated platform featuring AR camera for real product experience, multi-party video calls, and social functions
- Topping Google Play Store Beauty category popularity chart at No. 1, gaining sensational popularity
The next-generation beauty tech company Takion B&T Co., Ltd. (Takion B&T)'s beauty life platform Ticker app surpassed 100,000 cumulative downloads within ten days of its integrated launch on Android and iOS. Additionally, on April 6, it ranked first in the Google Play Store's beauty category popularity chart.
Officially released on both the Play Store and Apple App Store on the 30th of last month, Ticker's biggest feature is that users can experience beauty products currently on the market. Ticker has been receiving enthusiastic attention, especially from women aged 18-34 in the MZ generation, and it is analyzed to have served as a new breakthrough for beauty consumers in the non-face-to-face era where daily beauty routines have changed.
[Play Store Popular Chart No. 1]
Ticker is a new-concept beauty life platform equipped with an AR camera that allows actual product trials, multi-party video calls, and social functions. Users can virtually test real cosmetic products, experience various makeup styles, enjoy video calls with their looks as is, and share them on social media. Starting in the second half of this year, e-commerce and mileage features enabling direct product purchases will be added.
Earlier this year, Ticker signed contracts with overseas luxury cosmetic brands such as Dolce & Gabbana Beauty, Chantecaille, and Laura Mercier, as well as Korea's leading color makeup brand Espoir, to actively target the premium beauty demand of the MZ generation.
Additionally, a ‘Ticker Draw’ event will be held, offering actual products from participating brands as prizes. Detailed information can be found on the Ticker app or official SNS channels.
Gomijeong, an office worker in Daechi-dong, said, “It’s new to be able to try luxury brand lipsticks without going directly to the department store,” and added, “The colors are really pretty, and unlike other apps released before, it’s amazing that the makeup doesn’t move separately from the face.”
The beauty life platform ‘Ticker’ is available on the Android Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
