Galleria Department Store Unveils Grand Complication Watch

Galleria Department Store presents Vacheron Constantin's 'Traditional Grand Complication'.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Galleria Department Store announced on the 8th that it will showcase the Vacheron Constantin 'Traditional Grand Complication' equipped with three complication technologies at its luxury pavilion.

Complications refer to complex watch functions that require advanced assembly and adjustment skills. A watch with one such function is called a complication watch, while a watch with two or more is called a grand complication watch.

The Traditional Grand Complication is equipped with all three major pillars of complications: tourbillon, perpetual calendar, and minute repeater.

The tourbillon minimizes watch errors caused by gravity, the minute repeater audibly indicates the time down to the minute, and the perpetual calendar automatically calculates leap years and leap months to accurately display irregular date changes. The price of this product, the only one available in Korea, is approximately 980 million KRW.
