[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs announced on the 30th that it has selected 'A-Impact,' a company that developed an application (app) that organizes direct agricultural product orders, as this month's A-Ventures. A-Ventures refers to excellent venture and startup companies in the agricultural and food sector selected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
A-Impact is a budding company that developed and operates 'Arrange,' an app that organizes consumers' direct agricultural product order information made through various channels such as KakaoTalk and Instagram.
Arrange uses text mining technology to simply edit and save unstructured order messages, thereby shortening the order processing time for farms.
The company secured over 5,100 farm members in about two years since its founding. Using the app, it achieved approximately 16.5 billion KRW in agricultural product transaction volume.
Yoon Sung-jin, CEO of A-Impact, said, "In a situation where non-face-to-face transactions are preferred and expanding due to the impact of COVID-19, we hope our company enhances the convenience of direct agricultural product transactions and positively influences the agricultural and food market."
