[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 29th at 11 a.m., Noh Hyun-song, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, Seoul, visited the Gangseo-gu Vaccination Center established at the former Yeomgang Elementary School (221-22 Heojun-ro) to inspect the preparation status ahead of the second phase of vaccinations.

Mayor Noh closely examined all vaccination processes, from verifying the eligibility of recipients to filling out medical questionnaires, administering vaccinations, and monitoring adverse reactions.

In particular, he focused on checking vaccine management methods, securing waiting areas to accommodate large crowds, and protocols for responding to adverse reactions, emphasizing safety and emergency response measures.

In the afternoon, a simulation drill assuming an actual vaccination situation was also conducted.

More than 80 personnel, including doctors, nurses, administrative support staff, police, firefighters, and military personnel, participated in the drill, which involved ▲ filling out medical questionnaires and vaccination demonstrations ▲ emergency treatment for patients experiencing adverse reactions ▲ patient transport, and other various emergency scenarios.

Mayor Noh Hyun-song stated, “We will thoroughly analyze every step of the vaccination process and prepare meticulously to respond quickly and accurately even in emergency situations,” adding, “We will mobilize all administrative resources to ensure that residents can receive vaccinations safely without any inconvenience.”
