At this general meeting, last year's audit report, project evaluation and settlement, amendment of regulations, election of executives for this year, project plans, and budgets were finalized.
Gwangju Gyeongsilryeon elected Yeom Hae-sook, principal of Milan Vocational School, as the new co-representative.
New co-representative Yeom had previously served as the chairperson of the Women's Committee and contributed greatly to strengthening the foundation so that Gwangju Gyeongsilryeon could faithfully fulfill its role as a civic organization.
She expressed her thoughts, saying, "Based on my experience as the chairperson of the Women's Committee, I will do my best with a sense of mission to realize the core values of Gyeongsilryeon, social justice and economic justice."
Gwangju Gyeongsilryeon confirmed key projects to focus on this year, including Gwangju city urban planning projects, private park special projects, activities to eradicate real estate speculation, the Naju Innovation City Booyoung Golf Course land-use zone change opposition citizens' movement headquarters activities, and the public institution additional relocation Gwangju-Jeonnam provincial citizens' movement headquarters activities.
In addition, new committee chairpersons were appointed, and this year's policy projects will be promoted centered on each subcommittee chairperson.
