Air Busan Adds Flights on Ulsan~Jeju and Gimpo Routes


[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Air Busan announced on the 25th that it will increase flights on the Ulsan routes to enhance convenience for residents of the Ulsan area.


Starting from the 28th, Air Busan will increase flights on the Ulsan-Jeju and Ulsan-Gimpo routes, which currently operate twice daily (14 times weekly) round-trip flights from Ulsan Airport.


On a round-trip basis, the Ulsan-Jeju route will be increased by 14 flights to operate 28 times weekly, and the Ulsan-Gimpo route will be increased by 8 flights to operate 22 times weekly.


Specifically, the Ulsan-Jeju route will add 2 flights per day, operating 4 round-trip flights daily, while the Ulsan-Gimpo route will add 1 flight per day, operating 3 round-trip flights daily. On Fridays, when demand is high, 2 additional flights will be added to operate 4 round-trip flights daily.


The existing BX8891 flight, which departs from Gimpo Airport at 7:10 AM and arrives at Ulsan Airport at 8:05 AM, will have its schedule changed to depart at 7:30 AM and arrive at 8:25 AM, expanding passengers' options and making usage more convenient.


An Air Busan official stated, “With a sense of duty and mission as a regional airline, we will do our best to expand the skies of Ulsan, not only to increase convenience for local residents but also to help Ulsan become the industrial hub of South Korea.”
