Chosun University LINC+ Project Group Accelerates Job Program Sharing and Customized Employment Support


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Chosun University LINC+ Project Group announced on the 24th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Gathering Co., Ltd. and the International Career Center at the main building LINC-UP Areummaru to share job programs in the Gwangju area and provide customized employment support.


At the MOU signing ceremony, Kim Chun-seong, head of the Chosun University LINC+ Project Group, Gathering Co., Ltd. CEO Kim Dae-il, and International Career Center Director Park Min-hyang attended.


CEO Kim Dae-il, a graduate of Chosun University’s Department of English Language and Literature, founded a social enterprise in 2019 and launched the application ‘MyCampus,’ which enables promotion and management of university clubs.


CEO Kim also maintains a close relationship with the Gwangju Social Economy Support Center and is actively involved.


The International Career Center has been operating various programs since 2011 to help local youth and young adults explore career paths and find employment.


In particular, it continuously strives to provide optimal employment services to job seekers and companies, and operates government ministry job projects on consignment, including the ‘Youth New Start Program,’ Employment Success Package, Youth Tomorrow Filling Deduction, Small and Medium Enterprise Exploration Program, and Gwangju Youth Work Experience Dream Project.


Professor Song Ki-hoon of the Chosun University LINC+ Project Group said, “Through this MOU, we will introduce excellent small and medium-sized enterprises in the Gwangju area and improve employment rates through various programs such as company exploration programs for current students and graduates of Chosun University.”


Kim Chun-seong, head of the Chosun University LINC+ Project Group, said, “Through this signing ceremony, we expect to strengthen ties with local social enterprises and institutions, which will greatly help Chosun University students’ career paths and employment. We will continue to carry out various industry-academia cooperation activities.”
