[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] KOTRA will operate the '2021 Small and Medium-sized Business Export Capacity Building Training' program for three days on the 24th and the 30th-31st in collaboration with the Small Business Hope Foundation.
This program was prepared to help our small and medium-sized businesses, which are struggling due to COVID-19, find overseas opportunities. The training course, held at the Hope Foundation Jump-up Hub in Guro-gu, Seoul, covers the theory and practice of the entire overseas expansion process, including ▲the necessity of overseas expansion ▲buyer discovery ▲export contracts. It also provides education on entering and utilizing major online platforms in key markets such as Southeast Asia, North America, and China.
KOTRA operates the 'Small Business Export Support Center,' which discovers export-oriented small businesses and provides one-stop support from export practical training, marketing, to follow-up management. Ryu Jae-won, head of KOTRA's Trade Infrastructure Headquarters, said, "The overseas market will be a breakthrough for small and medium-sized businesses facing great difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic," adding, "We will continue to expand support programs for small and medium-sized businesses."
