[Asia Economy Reporter Seo So-jung] Huh Chang-soo, Honorary Chairman of GS, received a total of 15.927 billion KRW last year, including retirement pay and salary.


According to the 2020 business report disclosed by GS on the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 19th, Honorary Chairman Huh received 627 million KRW in salary, 1.095 billion KRW in bonuses, and 9.68 billion KRW in retirement pay from GS, totaling 11.42 billion KRW.


Since Honorary Chairman Huh stepped down from the chairman position through the shareholders' meeting in March last year, only salary and bonuses for January to March were paid.


As the chairman of GS Construction as well, Honorary Chairman Huh also received a total compensation of 4.525 billion KRW from GS Construction, including 2.287 billion KRW in salary and 2.238 billion KRW in bonuses.


Huh Tae-soo, the new chairman and younger brother of Honorary Chairman Huh, received 2.342 billion KRW in salary last year, and President Hong Soon-gi received a total of 1.089 billion KRW including salary and bonuses.


Jeong Taek-geun, advisor who stepped down from vice chairman, received 312 million KRW in salary, 544 million KRW in bonuses, and 4.929 billion KRW in retirement pay, totaling 5.785 billion KRW.
