[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 15th that it will introduce and operate a hologram issuance system for the issuance of construction machinery operator licenses.
Construction machinery operator licenses have so far been issued in laminated paper form, which was easily damaged or vulnerable to forgery and alteration. However, within 10 days, they will be issued in the form of a plastic card (made of the same material as a driver's license) coated with a highly durable hologram.
With the introduction of this hologram issuance system, the existing issuance time is expected to be greatly reduced from about 20 minutes to within 5 minutes.
In particular, with the revision of the 'Construction Machinery Management Act' introducing aptitude tests for construction machinery operator licenses, the demand for license issuance is expected to increase significantly, enabling faster processing and shorter waiting times for civil complaints.
If the currently held construction machinery operator license is damaged or reissuance is required, it can be issued by visiting the Construction Division of Hapcheon-gun Office.
Moon Joo-seok, head of the Construction Division, said, "Through the introduction of this construction machinery operator license issuance system, we have been able to provide more convenient and prompt services to the residents, and we hope it will also help to some extent in preventing the spread of infectious diseases by reducing waiting times for civil complaints."
