Guro-gu and Sungkonghoe University are recruiting startup resident teams for the 'Guro Village University.'
A Guro-gu official stated on the 11th, "To encourage startup activities in the region, we are conducting the 'Campus Town Project' together with Sungkonghoe University," and added, "As part of the project, we are recruiting prospective and early-stage startups to move into the Guro Village University startup space until the 19th of this month."
The Guro Village University startup space is located at Sungkonghoe University Guduin Building (320, Yeondong-ro, Guro-gu) and Guro Village University (312, Yeondong-ro, Guro-gu, 3rd floor).
The eligible applicants are early-stage startups with business registration less than three years old and prospective startups planning to register their business within six months.
If selected as resident companies, they will be supported with individual offices and basic office supplies, startup education and mentoring, networking activities among resident companies, and priority eligibility to participate in various Seoul Campus Town Project competitions.
The residency period is five months from April to August 31, and after a performance evaluation in September, teams with outstanding results will have the opportunity to extend their residency for another five months from October this year to February next year.
Those who wish to apply should fill out the application form and submit it via email to the Guro Village University contact (maeul.guro@daum.net) by the 19th of this month.

Sungkonghoe University plans to select up to 14 teams through a first-round document review and a second-round face-to-face evaluation. The evaluation criteria consist of a total of 100 points: ▲Capability evaluation 30 points ▲Social value and impact of the business item 20 points ▲Feasibility and originality 30 points ▲Completeness of the business plan 10 points ▲Suitability for residency 10 points.
A Guro-gu official said, "We hope this project will be an opportunity for entrepreneurs who have sufficient capabilities but face difficulties due to lack of activity space," and added, "We will actively support local entrepreneurs so that they can achieve good results."
