'The Hulk' Bryson DeChambeau (USA) rose five spots from 11th last week to 7.12 points in the weekly official golf world rankings announced on the afternoon of the 8th (Korean time). On the same morning, at Bay Hill Golf Club in Orlando, Florida (par 72, 7,454 yards), he finished the final day of the PGA Tour Arnold Palmer Invitational (total prize money $9.3 million) with 1-under par, achieving a one-stroke come-from-behind victory (11-under par 277).

This is his second win of the 2021 season following the US Open last September. He is currently first in the money rankings ($4,477,017) and also first in the FedEx Cup (PO) points rankings. DeChambeau drew particular attention on the 6th hole (par 5, 565 yards) by attempting a '1-on'. The hole is a left dogleg that curves in a semicircle along a lake. To carry over the water, a carry distance of over 350 yards is required. He provided fan service with 370 yards in the 3rd round and 377 yards in the 4th round.

There were no changes in the 'Top 5' including Dustin Johnson (USA), Jon Rahm (Spain), Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, and Xander Schauffele (all USA). Tyrrell Hatton (England) dropped to 7th, and Patrick Reed (USA) is 8th. Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland) fell from 8th to 11th, failing to maintain a Top 10 position. For Korea, Im Sung-jae (23) is 17th, 'American Express Champ' Kim Si-woo (26) is 54th, and An Byeong-hun (30, both CJ Logistics) is 80th.
