[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City, Gyeongnam announced on the 8th that it has laid 12 tons of eco-friendly wood chips on the hiking trail at the upper station of the Eoreumgol Cable Car to create a safe and pleasant hiking trail.
The hiking trail is about 430 meters long, from the end of the deck road (Sky Garden Path) at the upper station of the Eoreumgol Cable Car to the entrance of Saemmul Mountain Lodge. It is a place where hikers can enjoy the beautiful views of the Yeongnam Alps while taking a light hike, making it a popular spot for hikers.
A hiker passing through the trail said, "Since the trail was covered with wood chips, it was safe and comfortable even though the snow had melted and the path was wet."
Meanwhile, Miryang City plans to continuously inspect and maintain the hiking trails connected to the Eoreumgol Cable Car to ensure that visitors do not experience any inconvenience and to manage them with utmost care.
