Changwon City Provides Free Volume-Based Waste Bags When Collecting Illegal Advertisements

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 8th that it is implementing the 'Illegal Advertisement Collection Reward System,' which provides volume-based waste bags to residents who collect illegal advertisements within the city.

The Illegal Advertisement Collection Reward System is a program that rewards residents with volume-based waste bags (20ℓ standard) or recognizes volunteer hours based on the amount of collected flyers and posters.

Any citizen aged 20 or older with an address in the city can participate. Participants must bring the collected illegal advertisements and their ID to the local administrative office (eup, myeon, dong) of their Changwon resident registration area.

For volume-based waste bag (20ℓ standard) distribution, 1 bag is given for every 20 posters, 1 bag for every 60 flyers, and 1 bag for every 100 business card-sized flyers collected.

Each person can receive up to 4 bags of 20ℓ volume-based waste bags per day or be credited with up to 4 volunteer hours per day, with a maximum of 40 hours annually.
