On the 8th, SK Chemicals announced that it will newly release a high-dose version of the blood circulation improvement agent Gineksin, called Gineksin F tablets 240 mg.

Gineksin is a blood circulation improvement agent containing Ginkgo biloba dry extract, and since its launch in 1992, it has achieved cumulative sales of 460 billion KRW, making it a blockbuster product. It is a drug that improves peripheral arterial blood circulation in the body through the 'three major blood circulation actions' of reducing blood viscosity, dilating blood vessels, and improving blood flow. The newly introduced Gineksin 240 mg primarily targets the improvement of memory decline, decreased concentration, and dizziness.

According to clinical literature, administering 240 mg of Ginkgo biloba dry extract once daily showed significantly superior results compared to placebo in the treatment of dementia patients with neuropsychiatric symptoms. Considering the characteristic that consistent intake is necessary, SK Chemicals has released the high-dose 240 mg Gineksin tablets, enabling simple once-daily dosing to help prevent dementia.
