[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Seven Eleven announced on the 7th that it will launch the small-sized premium bread Seven Select 'Raisin Bread.'
Seven Select Raisin Bread uses raisins aged in wine. The raisins are matured in red wine from Spain, one of the world's top three wine-producing countries, giving the raisins a moist texture and deep flavor. Additionally, the dough is made using a patented fermented liquid cultured with lactic acid bacteria, resulting in a chewy bread texture.
A Seven Eleven representative stated, "With the increase in demand for bread for meals during the COVID-19 situation, there is a growing need to expand the range of premium bread. Raisin Bread is a small-sized bread made with differentiated ingredients and methods, making it suitable for convenient meal replacement at home."
