As a result of the fire, four people were injured: one firefighter suffered eye and ankle pain, and three factory workers sustained leg fractures. The fire damaged two factory buildings (980㎡) and machinery and equipment, causing property damage estimated at 90 million KRW (according to the fire department).

The fire department reported that it took 3 hours and 20 minutes from the time of the report to control the major fire at around 2:53 AM, and it took an additional hour to fully extinguish it.

The fire authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire targeting the business owner and others.
