[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Choyoung] On the 5th, Jeong Cheong-rae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, predicted the future course of Yoon Seok-yeol, the Prosecutor General who resigned on the 4th, saying, "He will not immediately join the People Power Party," and "He will take Ban Ki-moon as a negative example, lie low for a while, and think things over."

On the same day, Jeong posted on his Facebook a piece titled "The Scenario of Politician Yoon Seok-yeol," where he made these predictions.

Jeong said, "Looking at his resignation statement, it is clear that he is determined and has a strong will for politics," and asked, "Then what path will he choose?"

He predicted, "He will expose scenes of meeting various people while promoting a third-party theory like a spice in a medicine shop. It is easy to guess whom he will meet," adding, "He will probably use SNS as a way to stoke the fire from the sidelines."

He continued, "The only reason Yoon Seok-yeol received public support was because he held the public office of Prosecutor General," and criticized, "As he leaves the Prosecutor General position and incites the public, not many people are expected to think he will succeed as a politician. No successful politician has ever acted impulsively like this."

Jeong also mentioned suspicions surrounding Yoon's wife and mother-in-law. He said, "Since he has decided to walk the path of a politician, it seems difficult for Yoon Seok-yeol to avoid the blade of scrutiny. Issues regarding his wife and mother-in-law will surface, and I have a feeling there will be a big commotion."

Earlier, on the 4th, Jeong posted Yoon's full resignation letter on his Facebook, calling it "Yoon Seok-yeol's declaration of political participation," and criticized Yoon as "truly shameless and cheap."
