According to Studio Mir on the 5th, "Dota: Dragon's Blood" is based on the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre online game "Dota 2." This game boasts an extensive universe with stories intertwined among over 100 characters.

The original "Dota 2" holds strong recognition in overseas markets, including North America, as it has been featured annually as a main content in the "WCG," known as the world's largest eSports international tournament. Recently, the trailer for the major animation "Dota: Dragon's Blood," released on Netflix's YouTube channel, surpassed 2 million views within a day of its release.

The animation "Dota: Dragon's Blood," produced by Studio Mir this time, consists of a total of 8 episodes and unfolds the past story intertwined with the legendary figure of the Dragon Knight Davion in an engaging development. Studio Mir signed an exclusive release contract with Netflix and is known to have overseen the entire production process from planning to post-production of the "Dota: Dragon's Blood" animation.

A company official stated, "Since this work is based on the globally popular game 'Dota 2,' it is expected to establish itself as a representative exclusive animation content on Netflix," adding, "Through this work, we hope to solidify our position in the global market as a Korean animation production company while also gaining recognition for our content planning and production technology from another perspective."

Studio Mir is a domestic animation production company that has been repeatedly requested for partnerships by global OTT operators, producing animations such as "The Legend of Korra," which ranked first on the U.S. Netflix TV show chart, "The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf," "Voltron: Legendary Defender," and "My Red Whale."

In October last year, Studio Mir became the first domestic company to sign a content partnership in the animation field through a production line contract with Netflix. Having also announced the production of the animation "The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf" last year, Studio Mir has taken charge of producing "Dota: Dragon's Blood," playing a pivotal role in the continuous success of Netflix animations.
