Actor Dongha's Agency Responds to School Violence Allegations: "Confirmed with Close Contacts, Not True"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Actor Dongha (29, real name Kim Hyung-kyu) has been accused of being a school violence perpetrator, but his agency denied the claim, stating it is "not true."

Dongha's agency, J Wide Company, stated on the 4th, "Upon immediately checking the post uploaded on the community, we spoke with the actor himself and confirmed that the claims made by the writer are not true.

The agency added, "Since the actor's judgment might not be clear, we also confirmed with acquaintances around him, and the answers were the same," and "We will take thorough investigation and measures against the creation and sharing of false information."

Earlier this month, a writer who claimed to be a schoolmate of Dongha on an online community alleged that during their school days, Dongha slapped and verbally abused them simply because he looked at them unpleasantly.

The writer wrote, "Even though I was not close to Dongha, I was assaulted in a crowded place, which caused great shame, and from then on, I hid to avoid being noticed by him."

Meanwhile, Dongha debuted in 2009 with the KBS drama 'Just Looking' and is currently appearing in the KBS drama 'Oh! Samgwang Villa!'.
