[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Donggeun Lee, the newly appointed full-time Vice Chairman of the Korea Employers Federation (KEF), visited the Federation of Korean Trade Unions (FKTU) located in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 4th as his first official schedule after taking office.

On that day, in a meeting with Kim Dongmyung, Chairman of the FKTU, and others, Vice Chairman Lee said, "So far, KEF and FKTU have cooperated and pooled wisdom to overcome economic crises and develop labor-management relations."

He added, "Since both companies and workers are facing difficulties due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, KEF and FKTU must continue to foster cooperative labor-management relations and overcome the crisis based on this," and expressed hope that "the relationship between KEF and FKTU will become even stronger."
