BizProfile Service Launch

Danggeun Market Connects Local Small Businesses and Residents

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Danggeun Market (co-CEOs Kim Yong-hyun and Kim Jae-hyun) announced on the 4th that it has launched the 'Biz Profile' service, which allows small business owners running neighborhood stores across the country to promote their stores and communicate with nearby residents.

Biz Profile is an online space where you can promote your store and interact with local residents through Danggeun Market. Store information such as introduction text, main image, store location, and business hours can be registered, and real-time communication is possible through phone inquiries, chat, and comments. Anyone running a neighborhood store can use Biz Profile free of charge.

This service was designed to help connect local businesses with customers in nearby areas. Biz Profile features a 'News Publishing' function that actively informs local customers living near the store about various updates such as product and service introductions, new menus, and events. The 'Regular Customer' service also draws attention. When customers who frequently visit or regularly check the Biz Profile press the 'Regular Customer' button, news or event information posted on the Biz Profile is quickly delivered to the regular customer's Danggeun Market home feed.

Merchants running neighborhood stores can promote their stores to the country's largest local community with 14.3 million monthly users through Biz Profile. Local residents will also have expanded opportunities to discover and use neighborhood stores they had previously overlooked. Kim Chang-joo, head of the Biz Profile team at Danggeun Market, said, "We launched the Biz Profile service with the hope of connecting local merchants and neighbors and revitalizing the local economy and community through active exchanges." He added, "Starting with neighborhood stores, we plan to expand connections so that anyone who wants to communicate with local residents, including region-based franchises and local government public institutions, can use Biz Profile."
