[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Following the controversy over speculation by employees of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) in the Gwangmyeong and Siheung districts, another scandal has erupted with allegations that an LH employee is conducting real estate investment lectures online. However, the employee denied the controversy, stating, "I have never given online lectures."

According to a JTBC report on the 3rd, Mr. Oh, who works at the Uijeongbu Project Team of LH's Seoul Regional Headquarters, conducted lectures on a paid real estate investment website.

In this lecture, which costs 230,000 won to attend, Mr. Oh reportedly explained how to generate profits through land compensation in redevelopment complexes. In particular, he promoted himself as the "top instructor in land auction and public sale" and introduced that "1,800 people attended one lecture."

Mr. Oh also boasted of having 18 years of experience in real estate investment companies, having made numerous investments and earned profits. It is known that he appeared not only on this site but also as a panelist on YouTube and other platforms to explain his investment experiences.

In response, LH stated, "We are conducting an internal audit regarding Mr. Oh's violation of the prohibition on concurrent positions," and added, "Personnel measures will be taken based on the results."

In fact, since August last year, LH has required employees to obtain permission for concurrent positions when engaging in personal activities on the internet. However, it is reported that Mr. Oh did not apply for concurrent position approval.

However, amid the controversy, Mr. Oh denied the allegations, saying, "I have never given online lectures," and "As a company employee, I have never given any special lectures or anything like that."
