M2PI "Full-scale Growth as a Specialized Academic Journal Platform Company"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] M2Com announced on the 3rd that it will establish M2PI as a separate corporation to provide a specialized platform service for academic journals and grow.

Launched officially in January, M2PI publishes JATS XML-based Open Access academic journals in various fields such as Biomedicine, Health, Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences. It has built a one-stop publishing service including manuscript submission and review systems, academic journal websites, JATS XML to PDF production, and eProof systems.

In addition, regarding the highly demanded "domestic and international indexing database registration" by Korean academic journal editors, M2PI is developing a system based on thorough analysis of successful and failed cases to establish a foundation that enables more Korean academic journals to be indexed in various databases.

Yoonsang Cho, CEO of M2PI, stated, “We currently publish 24 SCIE journals, 55 PubMed/PMC journals, and 71 Scopus journals,” adding, “Understanding the dedication of domestic editors to research and academic journal editing, we are focusing on providing more systematic, professional, and enhanced services starting from this corporate separation.” He continued, “Through this, we aim to grow as a specialized academic journal platform company that can contribute to increasing the influence and recognition of academic journals and also pioneer overseas markets.”
