[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, signed a business agreement on the 2nd with Kim Ki-dae, CEO of NSBS, which operates the global news network Aving News, to promote and develop the medical and life sciences industry.
Gimhae City and NSBS agreed to collaborate closely to provide advisory support for the development of the Gimhae Small Giant Research and Development Special Zone, exchange information and market trends in the domestic and international medical and life sciences industries, and jointly discover and attract promising medical and life sciences companies.
Additionally, to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of the designation of the only medical device small giant special zone in Korea, they agreed to actively support the promotion of the ‘2021 Gimhae International Medical and Life Sciences Festival’ scheduled to be held in June for its successful hosting.
Mayor Heo Seong-gon stated, “Through this agreement, we expect to greatly contribute to the fostering of the medical and life sciences industry by quickly sharing the latest industry information, discovering new projects, and attracting promising companies.”

It serves as a media partner for over 100 domestic and international exhibitions annually across various fields and is a global media outlet that covers and reports on the largest number of promising startups and small and medium enterprises in Korea to the world.
