Korea & Company Hires Executive Director Seo Jeong-ho, Expert in Future Strategy and New Business Development

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Korea & Company, the holding company of Hankook Tire & Technology, announced on the 3rd that it has recruited Executive Director Jung-ho Seo, an expert in future strategy and new business development, to accelerate the strengthening of the group's future business competitiveness and the discovery of new growth engines.

Executive Director Seo will be in charge of the Strategic Planning Office at Korea & Company, leading the group's growth and formulating strategies based on innovation driven by advanced technology. He will also promote the group's core future strategies, including new business planning and overseas business development. In particular, he plans to realize sustainable growth based on his extensive experience in areas such as strategic mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and business expansion.

Executive Director Seo gained diverse experience through his work at GM in the U.S., Samsung Corning Precision Materials, and Doosan Corporation, where he led strategic planning, new business development, and mergers and acquisitions. He also served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Doosan Solus.

Notably, at Doosan Corporation, he was responsible for establishing and executing growth strategies related to business development, including new business planning, investment, and M&A, and led the overall management strategy of the business division. As an expert in the automotive, display, and electronic component materials sectors, he also led numerous projects related to technology strategy and overseas business.
