Kolon FnC Customellow Launches 'Prekker Collection' Using Antibacterial Fabric

Developed Own Fabric Using Copper-Infused 'Cyprus' Yarn

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Kolon Industries FnC Division (hereinafter Kolon FnC) announced on the 3rd that its menswear brand Customellow will launch the ‘FREEKER’ collection made with antibacterial fabric.

‘FREEKER’ is a compound word of Free and Worker. The FREEKER collection, Customellow’s first functional product line, consists of a total of 15 items ranging from outerwear such as jackets and jumpers to innerwear like t-shirts and shirts, as well as pants.

It features a three-dimensional pattern that considers the movement of the human body to ensure mobility. In addition, various pockets have been provided to easily store essentials such as masks, which have become indispensable for modern people, as well as mobile phones and Bluetooth earphones. The FREEKER collection uses an antibacterial yarn called ‘Q-PLUS.’ Q-PLUS is an antibacterial yarn developed by Kolon Glotech by applying copper (Cu). Customellow developed its own antibacterial material using this Q-PLUS yarn. Through experiments conducted by FITI Testing & Research Institute, a major textile testing organization, it was confirmed that the antibacterial effectiveness is 99.9%.
