Gmarket and Auction Hold Spring Joint Discount Event 'BomBom Market'

Gmarket and Auction will hold the 'BomBom Market,' offering discounts on food, daily necessities, and beauty products until the 14th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] eBay Korea's Gmarket and Auction announced on the 3rd that they will hold the 'Bombom Market,' a discount sale event for food, daily necessities, and beauty products, until the 14th. This large-scale joint promotion involves over 1,500 sellers and offers up to 15% coupons daily.

The Bombom Market, held simultaneously on Gmarket and Auction, is divided into two sections: the 'Food Hall' and the 'Life & Beauty Hall.' The Food Hall features fresh food, processed food, health supplements, coffee, and beverages, with around 700 sellers including brand companies participating. The Life & Beauty Hall offers a wide range of products frequently used in daily life, such as daily necessities, body and hair care, household goods, kitchenware, stationery and office supplies, health and medical products, cosmetics, and perfumes.

Various discount coupons are also prepared. A '10% discount coupon' exclusive to the Bombom Market is provided, and premium membership Smile Club members receive a '15% discount coupon.' Coupons are offered separately for the Food Hall and the Life & Beauty Hall and apply to purchases over 10,000 KRW. Each coupon offers a maximum discount of up to 5,000 KRW and can be downloaded up to three times per day per ID. In the Food Hall, overlapping discount coupons for a total of 18 food brands are available. Similarly, 18 brand discount coupons can be downloaded in the Life & Beauty Hall.

An eBay Korea official said, "To welcome spring, we are gathering a variety of food, living, and beauty products at reasonable prices in one place," adding, "With many sellers participating, we expect a good response as the product assortment and prices are competitive."
