[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Insurance announced on the 2nd that President Kim Ki-hwan participated in the 'Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge' to promote a culture of child protection.

This challenge is a relay campaign organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to establish a culture that prioritizes child protection and to build national consensus on preventing children's traffic accidents. It started in early December last year and proceeds by participants sharing traffic safety slogans for establishing a child protection culture on SNS and recommending the next participant.

Recommended by KB Kookmin Bank President Hur In, President Kim posted a photo holding the children's traffic safety slogan (1 stop! 2 look both ways! 3 seconds! 4 prevent high-risk behaviors!) with hashtags such as '#ChildrenTrafficSafety' and '#ChildProtectionZone' on SNS including Instagram.

President Kim said, "I hope this challenge spreads awareness about preventing children's traffic accidents," and added, "KB Insurance will continue to strive to contribute to creating a safe social environment where children, the hope of the future, can freely dream and grow."

Meanwhile, President Kim Ki-hwan recommended former figure skater Kim Yuna, Min Byung-doo, Director of the Insurance Training Institute, and Won Jong-gyu, CEO of Korean Reinsurance, as the next participants in the Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge.
