Yangsan City Bus Routes 3 and 4 to Start Operation from the 9th

Efficient Improvement of Shortened and Discontinued Village Bus Routes
Increased Frequency and Sections for Industrial Complex Commuting

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 2nd that from the 9th, it will open and operate Yangsan Urban Bus No. 3 (Deokgye-dong area, Green Industrial Complex·Deokgye General Industrial Complex) and No. 4 (Seochang-dong area, Soju Industrial Complex·Seochang General Industrial Complex).

Buses No. 3 and 4 are public buses that have maximized route efficiency in various ways, including straightening existing routes, introducing demand-responsive operation, and regular operation during industrial complex commuting hours.

Route No. 3 operates from Deokgye Market as the starting point, passing through Oesan Village, Green Industrial Complex, Deokgye Industrial Complex, and Maegok Village.

Wolla Village, which was previously an area without public transportation service, can be served during demand-responsive operation hours (08:50~16:00) if reserved 50 minutes before departure time, with the bus passing through before departing from Deokgye Market. During commuting hours, the bus runs twice daily each way via Green Industrial Complex and Deokgye General Industrial Complex.

Route No. 4 starts from Nonghyup Bank Ungsang Branch and operates through Yongdang, Dangchon to Daewoonsan Healing Experience Center’s Supaesuh.

Jukjeon Village is served during demand-responsive operation hours (09:00~17:00) if reserved 50 minutes before departure time. During commuting hours, the route is extended to Soju Industrial Complex and Seochang General Industrial Complex, running twice daily each way.

The fare is the same as city bus fares but can only be paid by transportation card. Transfers with other public transportation such as buses and subways are allowed up to two times.

Operating hours are from 7:10 AM to 8:00 PM for route No. 3, and from 7:10 AM to 6:00 PM for route No. 4.

A Yangsan City official said, “With the opening of Yangsan Urban Bus No. 3 and 4, we expect it to greatly help residents in areas with inconvenient public transportation and workers in the industrial complexes by improving commuting convenience.”
